Little France is a fifth generation family farm with the Du Toit's as proud owners. Set in the picturesque wine-producing valley of Robertson, the Little France country house offers luxury and indulgence.Boasting with a wide variety of fruits and grapes, this farm is a bee hive of activity during the harvesting season between September and April. High quality peaches, nectarines, prunes, apricots and grapes are all produced and packaged on the farm for the export market.
Philippe and his team express their love and respect for nature in the way they nurture every tree, plant and animal on the farm. Enjoy a tractor trip to Du Von Wine Cellar, a drive through the orchards - even pick your own fruit! or just enjoy the view.
Sweet and healthy apricot, peach and grape jams are made in the farmhouse kitchen from Ma Ida's old family recipe. Enjoy this, fresh toast and a hot cup of coffee next to the fireplace in the winter or a glass of freshly squeezed juice in the summer next to the pool.
You will also find handmade candles by Ma Gesina. All sizes and colours are made in a small candle factory on the farm Oudekraal outside of Bonnievale - providing work for women on the farm. All our rooms have an en-suite bathrooms, TV, aircon/fan, mini bar, towels, hairdryer and tea & coffee facilities.We welcome you to Little France Guesthouse, whether you take a stroll in the picturesque gardens, do some wine tasting, pick your own grapes or just relax in the afternoon sun and take in the fresh aromas, sounds and colours of farm-life.
